We had a wonderful stay at the Tanjore Inn. Lovely spacious room and bathroom. The bed was very comfortable. There was outdoor seating in the garden which was a bonus. The breakfast was great. The staff were incredibly helpful and obliging. The whole building was beautifully and thoughtfully furnished. The location was quiet but near the temple. I would thoroughly recommend the Tanjore Inn.
Good location close to railway station and not too far from inner city/temple, staff was nice and accommodating. Good budget place to stay just one or a few nights visiting Thanjavur.
Courteous staff, good food, the open dining area was very nice, rooms were nice. Considering there is no lift in the hotel, we requested one of the rooms to be shifted to ground floor (as we were traveling with senior citizens) and they immediately obliged. The dinner was very nice as well.
I had a great stay at Ram’s Inn. As a solo traveler I felt safe and secure. The staff were friendly and accommodating - they promptly responded to my requests. The room was clean, comfortable and had good ventilation. Basic toiletries were included. The furniture and decoration in the entrance area was a lovely addition.
The rooms are spacious, luxuriously fitted out. There is a balcony with deck chairs with a view of the river and a verandah with a view of the garden. We had lunch, dinner and breakfast at the restaurant and enjoyed every one of them. The staff are very helpful. The hotel is set among lush vegetation along the vennar river,. It is serene with only a small number of rooms in a large estate.
