The room was excellent with comfortable bed and had a perfect view.. If you're looking for a better hotel/guest house to spend time with your loves one with low price.. Urban tavern is best for you.
The staff were very courteous and helpful. The chef,Mr Ranjan was very helpful and managed to provide us a cake at midnight on our special request. Miss Anamika served us dinner and was very polite and cooperative,she helped us with our special meal request and was very kind and caring towards us. Miss Kiki provided us a parting delicacy and was very sweet. Overall,the stay was wonderful and we are looking forward to make courtyard by Marriott stays a part of our future trips.
Excellent location, great service, spacious room and washroom. All amenities like instant coffee, tea, kettle, toiletries were provided.

The location is perfect, it is about 30 minutes from Police Bazar, and there are lots of new places you can have lunch/dinner. Also, it has nice open space where you can hang out and chill with friends. Rooms are cozy. The other rooms are in construction phase. It has a dorm as well. Hope to visit here again next year.

This property is in good place. You can see the hill .. property has a balcony from where you can see the part of a shillong city especially the night view is absolutely great. Staff are so humble and alway ready to help you if have any issue .. In house dinner facility is given .food was excellent and the complementary breakfast which is remarkable.. Thanks woodland ...
The natural beauty surrounding the guest house was amazing , however, it was little bit far from main city area and difficult to travel to main city or get down from hotel. Although there is arrangement for breakfast and dinner if asked a bit early.
Excellent guest house. Very clean, comfortable room. The corridors and dinning area are spacious and clean. Breakfast is very good and there is variety in what is served (we stayed 2 nights). Ms Shanti who runs the place is very friendly. She arranged a taxi for us to go to the airport. Location is good - you can easily reach the place by taxi (telling the driver you want to go to St. John's Church in Laban which is just in front of the guest house) or to walk - it is a nice residential area. Overall, it's worth the money you pay.
