Exceptionally clean home style place. I had reserved the place based on reviews and was apprehensive at first. The service at Kumbakonam Inn is truly outstanding. From ensuring we had the right directions to providing clean rooms , coordinating with nearby restaurants for food and service left me pleasantly surprised. My family loved the place and it was conveniently located to the temples we were visiting. A very good value and one that I will recommend.
location was in city center and hotel was very nice and clean. Had a restaurant attached where you can have breakfast, lunch and dinner. Very good quality food.
Breakfast was typical idli, Dosa, Pongal, Podi Idlis, Sweet pongal, Avial pongal, Bread butter, cheese, almond yogurt, masala omlette, etc. Overall, I and my wife were happy with the entire experience. But it was too more for continuous three days affair. We never had lunch and dinner so do not have much idea about it because we use to leave early for visiting temples or shopping. Best thing was there was no TV. I missed adding - There are peacocks in this property. It was very nice see them around all the time throughout the day.

Aboorva Grand inn is a very nice place to stay with family. Food, cleanliness, ambience all fantastic. Wifi, 24hours power backup available. 6 kms radius distance from all famous temples around there in Kumbakonam. Cars available at doorstep. Overall 10/10
We stayed in a family room for a night. The rooms , the bed in the property were very well maintained just like a hotel. The bathroom toilet was clean. Mr. Balaji and his team are very hospitable. He follows up with you right from the time you have booked till your whole stay. He arranged dinner for us even though we were late. If you want a quite place with hotel like rooms then you can give this a try.
