Perfect for rustic breaks in the countryside, an Inn is a small property with basic hotel services and typically traditional decor. Inns are fully licensed and have a bar providing food and drinks in the evening – distinguishing them from country or guest houses.
The place is amazing. Spacious rooms, perfectly clean, with a big balcony overlooking the trees and the houses around. The atmosphere is very quiet and rustic.
The staff, and in particular Khaja, very polite, friendly and kind, always smiling, is always attentive and available for you.
Among the services, I cannot recommend enough a tour with the amazing rickshaw driver Pampa, a really interesting and nice man, who will guide you in this wonderland.

First time I travelled it's was wonderful full stay at mountain view guest house .
I am really and highly recommended to stay at mountain view guest house in Hampi.
And all sightseeing places also nearby, and they are help to travel around bikes, rickshaw car all speciality they provide.
Always they are ready to help guests and guidance they treat like a family:)
The stay was excellent! The owner, was exceptionally helpful and friendly. The entire area is covered with beautiful trees and flowers. The host also provided breakfast, lunch and dinner on request. The food is homely and presented in a clean and pleasant manner.
The host also arranges Auto for visiting all the tourist places in Hampi.
Overall, a wonderful stay in Hampi which is value of every penny spent!
Gopi is the owner and himself made lovely dinner upon arrival served all fresh and hot. Same with the property for the breakfast. I would certainly visit again. Good experience
The guest house is in a great location very close to many of the temples. It has a great balcony overlooking the river. Although the accommodation is basic, this is made up for by being in such a superb location. They staff are awesome, really friendly and helpful. In addition, the food is fantastic. Home cooked and totally delicious.
Staff (Sri Ravi Kumar) were humble and service was excellent, food was homely. As the Guest house is in the cente of Hampi it can be reached at any odd hours of night. Exceptional auto and guide service. Happy to come to Hampi and to Gopi Guest house next season.
Brilliant location - peaceful house and beautiful setting - such lovely hosts who were super accommodating and helped us to plan an amazing three days in Hampi. Breakfast and dinner was also delicious. We were very sad to leave and hope to return again one day! Highly recommended Shankar Homestay for anyone looking to stay in Hampi. This place is a hidden gem.
the guest house is located in the center of Sanapur village. there are other guest houses at Sanapur, but they are a bit far from center of Sanapur. this guest house is just 1 minute walk to the center.
and the guest house is very cozy with nice owner and nice staff.
I also tried to have dinner at the guest house restaurant. tasty and price is reasonable.
the scenery from the guest house is also awesome!
