Food at the Arcadia was the highlight, especially dinner alongwith the morning coffee at breakfast. Rooms are quite spacious and well equipped, though they charge extra for heaters in June.
Breakfast was nice. Mr. Samir and Ms. Chandni Madam took good care of the family. Staying at the guest house is like staying at your own home with good food and taking all needs of a family.
Great location,atmosphere beautiful surrounding , great staff. Most friendly and helpful receptionist and staff ever, lovely and great first impression of hotel. Everything about the hotel was exceptional. It was clean, stylish, roomy with excellent service in where we had dinner. Food was good and great value for money and service was attentive and efficient. Room itself was well equipped and comfortable. I was very pleased with my stay. I hope to be back for a longer visit in the future.
It was a great experience with SVR Inn and behaviour of their stuffs are too good and friendly. Their responses on any Kinds of requirements were super fast. Since I was stayed only one night but the experience was good. Missed the breakfast because we leave early morning. I'm recommending them based on my experience.
I will go out on a limb and recommend Cedar Inn to anyone travelling to Darjeeling. The Hotel has an "olden times" feeling about it, the staff was very courteous, rooms and facilities very clean and breakfast rich and savoury. It's away from the hustle and bustle of the Darjeeling center, but still within a 15 mins' walk from it.
