Perfect for rustic breaks in the countryside, an Inn is a small property with basic hotel services and typically traditional decor. Inns are fully licensed and have a bar providing food and drinks in the evening, which distinguishes them from country or guest houses.
Erica was very welcoming and accommodating from the very beginning. The location is beautiful with the friendly hens in the back garden.
Breakfast was 11/10, everything fresh and homemade. We wish we could have tried more from the appetising menu.
Location was fantastic The bus drops off just steps fro Walsh’s Bridge Inn If you are biking the Greenway the e-bike rental shops is also a few steps away. I liked that there was a grocery store almost right across the street
The food at the restaurant is excellent - in fact maybe the best in Newport Everyone at the bar made me feel welcome and the staff were so friendly.
Erica made us feel at home from the very beginning, the house and garden are simply stunning, the location is close to the local restaurants & pubs, the breakfast is exceptional they use eggs from their own chickens and offer homemade bread, our room was spacious and well equipped with free water, tea, coffee. In the common area were games and the view on the river was just great. We would have loved to stay a little longer as we unfortunately only had one night
The rooms were large and comfortable, right on the main street in Newport. We had a comfortable night here and would stay again if in Newport. The hotel pub/restaurant had great food for dinner and breakfast.
A central hotel in beautiful location. Close to local attractions of Westport, Mulranny and Achill Island. We walked the greenway from Newport to Mulranny. Beautiful scenery and very peaceful away from roads. We took four hours to walk but majority of people who travel the greenway do so by bicycle . When u get to Mulranny don’t just visit the local shop for l snacks or their fabulous ice cream. We had lunch at the Park inn hotel overlooking Clew Bay and across to Croagh Patrick.
The breakfast was amazing and Riverside House is just a short walk into town for a great lunch or dinner. The setting on the river is gorgeous as well.
Riverside is set in a beautiful, relaxing location. It was perfect for our overnight stop as we travelled around the West coast.
Our room had a great view shown in the photo, over the river and was a perfect size with en suite bathroom.
The garden is lovely to sit in or take a walk around. It takes about 5 minutes to walk into Newport where we got dinner in the pub over the bridge to the left. Breakfast was delicious!! You will love John's homemade breads and jams. Would definitely stay here again.
everything!
It’s absolutely amazing, photos are beautiful but the whole property is more stunning in real life!!
Erica is wonderful, she greeted us when we arrived and showed us around, extremely hospitable.
We have a son with special needs, Down syndrome and stayed in the room with a bunk bed, I felt everything was very safe for him.
Erica kindly made a dinner reservation at the pink pub, which is an easy 5 minute walk away, food was great!
Breakfast… don’t eat too much for dinner as breakfast is amazing!!
We’d definitely stay again!!
