Andy and his family wlecomed us not just as guests but as part of their group of friends. They are all musicians and artists, so you get immediatly included in the best circle of people in Yogyakarta. Besides, their suggestions for what to do and see were always spot on. The village where the property is located is famous for its craftsmen, especially potters and basket makers, and there are plenty of wonderful places to see around. The place is a 15 min ride to the city on motorbike (very easy to get a Grab or Gojek for a couple of euros). The houses Andy built are beautiful and confortable, made with old carved wood pieces repurposed from other buildings. If you are interested in a off-turistic experience, I highly recommend staying here.

The location of the place is excellent for going to Prambanan Temples and to Borobudur Temple, it is in the middle of a quiet village. Ukhi is very responsible for everything what you need, offering a great transportation service but if you want to discover more highly recommended to rent a motorbike from the owner Ukhi.

The staff definitely will make you feel home and have a family. She is so kind and helpful, try to accommodate your needs. I love the fact that they have a communal kitchen we can use. They also have a yoga shala where you can do your workout and stuff. Definitely will be back!
