We had a great time at Batu Kapal Guest House. Bayu and his friends were all very friendly and welcoming! The rooms were clean, spacious and the view of the jungle was pretty amazing. We booked the 2 days Jungle Tour and we could totally recommend it. We were very lucky to have Jipur as our Guide. He was very friendly and also very funny and the whole group had a very good time in the jungle. We can highly recommend to stay at Batu Kapal Guest House - we had a great time!:)
Andri was the nicest host ever, he helps you a lot with everything you might need, and personalize also the plans you want to do. Me and my family can only recommend to stay at Sahnan guest house.
Very friendly and helpful staff, nice restaurant. Muhdi was very helpful with organising a trek starting directly from the guest house. We came back on the river straight to the back of the property.

We had a great experience staying at Aussie Inn. It was just for one night, but all our needs were met. The staff was really forthcoming and the food delicious. The location is right by the river, perfect for anyone who likes to stay near the centre, but also enjoys some quiet time.
Jungle Inn is in a fabulous spot right in the corner of a river bend and ideal for having a swim. The staff were all amazing. They were very friendly, helpful and went above and beyond to make our stay a fantastic experience. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
We did spend two nights at Sam‘s Bungalows and it was just amazing. Very friendly stuff, very new and luxurious rooms with hot water and a restaurant which is serving delicious breakfast and dinner. Also we recommend as a highlight the one day jungle tracking tour - have seen 15! Orang Utans and many further animals.
The people were so warm and friendly, it made our stay at the Jungle Inn very special. I would thoroughly recommend the 2 day hike for any age as long as you are generally fit and healthy. Food was great. Location beautiful overlooking the river and jungle. We arrived via motorbike in the evening and it looked so pretty. Bukit lawang is charming with lots of bars and restaurants. We stayed for 4 nights but wish we had stayed longer.
By far Putra the owner is the best thing of this Guest house. We stayed there to go to the jungle with him. It was only 2 of us and the experience was fantastic, we stayed away from the tourists crowds almost all the time. Putra walks the jungle listening to the animals and we got to see several of them. We slept further in the jungle than the rest of the tourists. Be ready to climb up a river and walk through the inner jungle!
