Perfect for rustic breaks in the countryside, an Inn is a small property with basic hotel services and typically traditional decor. Inns are fully licensed and have a bar providing food and drinks in the evening – distinguishing them from country or guest houses.
The owner was very nice and provided everything needed! The room was perfect and huge and also it had an enormous balcony. There was even a sunbed for stargazing at night. Also, the pension had a library in which you could borrow books and maps.
Everything was great. I checked in later than I should have and Aerides studio's stuff were adaptable. The location is quiet, just near the sea and the port. Methana has nice taverns and places with coffee.
The location of the hotel is great, with a perfect view of the sea and Poros island. It is a few minutes walk out of the town center, so it was pretty quiet. There is a nice small beach right in front of the hotel, but we didn't use it in the beginning of May.
Wonderful location, peaceful and calm, looking out over the bay waters morning and night. Chrissi very friendly, we arrived close to 10:00 at night and even then no problem to provide food. I had also picked up my nephew by chance and the additional person no problem either. Instantly feel at home.
Below along the beach are some lovely restaurants serving great seafood too, very rustic tables set up on the beach or landings.
Anastasia thank you for your exceptional hospitality. The property was immaculately clean and well equipped. Set in the pine trees with a view to the sea and easy walking to the beach and the tavernas.
Anastasia was extremely warm , welcoming to her home and always time to chat. The Apartment it's self was cleaned every day, had all the equipment for a self catering stay if needed, quite and relaxing.
Maria was very kind, she offered me the room in 2nd floor as I wanted. This pension is in quiet place, but it is fact, that all Methana was in the beginning of October out of main season (in the opposite of Poros !).
We really enjoyed our stay. The apt was perfect, spacious and very clean. We had a comfortable bed and all the amenities we needed. Best of all, we received a very warm welcome from Mr. Stelios. The apt is located close to the port, several nice tavernas and cafes and the beach.
Arsinoe guesthouse is beautifully located overlooking the Saronic gulf. Old pine trees on the property provide shade and add to the charm of the once old school house. Our host Thanassis could not have been more accommodating and discreet. The last night we asked him to prepare us dinner and this was excellent, lemon chicken with fresh greens.
The area still has to be discovered and has much to offer.
