Definitely the best place to stay on the island of Corfou ! Very close to the beach - a very pleasant and nice beach where you can walk, swim or watch amazing sunsets ! Warm and friendly hosts, thanks to Kosta and his family ! Breakfast and dinner are proposed at the taverna of the family, you will appreciate the little walk until the other side of the charming village and enjoy some typical greek food !
We stayed in the best room, two bedrooms and the double bed was huge and very comfortable. The room is next to the studios and has a terrace all the way around it, perfect for sunbathing. You can see and hear the sea too. We were looked after very well from start to finish. The food for dinner in the taverna was exceptional, everything from the home made wine, the home made chips to the souvlaki!
Our 3rd visit to Marathias and we would definitely return if we return to Corfu. Nice sized room with typical Greek bathroom and a very basic kitchenette(sink & kettle). Very close to beach & various taverna’s etc. The owner Panos does run an excellent restaurant approx 1km way.
Very good money for the value. Tasty food from the taverna which is operated by the owner of the hotel. Clean. Comfortable beds and pillows! The kitchen is almost empty but if you have the halfboard you don’t need that actually. Beautiful sandy beach is 2 min walk from the hotel. Friendly owners. Nice playground with the toys. Private parking.
Hosts very nice people, keen to be helpful and very attentive, breakfast and dinner in the family owned taverna was a delight and the breakfast being included was very good value. Good variety in the food and local ingredients. Only ~30 metres or so to the beach. For a quiet stay by the beach in good weather, the apartment has everything required.
Nice location near beautiful sandy beach with cliffs. Hosts are super nice, very welcoming and caring. We arrived after 12 pm because delayed flight, and host was waiting for us till we arrived :) food in taverna also was delicious as we had included dinner.
The house is big enough for two families with children, it has it's own water supply. Big table in the dinning room to gather everyone for lunch or dinner. Very helpfull owner. Remote and quiet location close to a few tavernas and beach.
