You are paying for the location. It is truly special, you are practically staying at the beach. We enjoyed the walking trails and the herd of goats that live in the mountains behind the taverna.

It was challenging to reach this place by car, but well worth it once we got there, as the Taverna is right beside a very rugged, but very beautiful part of coastline! There was a great choice for breakfast, all prepared/ cooked fresh. The beach is rocky and stony and tricky to enter the water from the shore, however, there is a jetty with a ladder, which helped a lot and sunbeds available to use on the beach. Kostas was a superb host, who made the stay and the whole experience even better!

Taverna Akrogiali is a calm, peaceful friendly space. We have been here twice now and think it is wonderful.

This is a family run taverna with 2 incredibly friendly, hard working, genuine and hospitable brothers. They went out of their way to make everyone feel at home and answer any questions on the area. The food is homemade and local. The views, location, wildlife and sea are divine. It was like stepping into a traditional, authentic, calming, TV free paradise of simple pleasures and serenity. Shakira is a sweetheart and loved to keep everyone company, especially at dinnertime!

This is a basic guest house, pension. Don't expect luxe comfort or power showers. But everything was clean and tidy and perfect for what we needed. And the view from the lovely, wide terrace is wonderful! We came up here so sit and watch the stars every night after dinner and drinks down at the harbour. It's peaceful, private and beautiful. A fabulous retreat. Relaxing and easy. We found it charming and excellent value.

We were transferred on their boat , welcomed by the family with open arms , the taverna and hotel are family run and the taverna is so traditional . We had lunch , dinner and breakfast and it was amazing . Beach is ok , but the rest made up for that .

Nice hotel with great view over the village from the top floors from the large balconies. We can also recommend the attached tavern for dinner and breakfast.
