Lovely hosts. Very helpful, friendly - just good people. Highly recommend staying here and skipping dinner in the city but have it in this guest house.

I ended up staying longer that I planed.
Its also very clean and there is free tea and coffe and delicious homemade cake.
My friends ordered dinner and said it was delicious and very generous.

Adelina was very hospitable. She even invited me for dinner with her family since I was travelling alone. She's an excellent chef. The location of the guest house is perfect as it is close to a supermarket, the marashutaka/bus station to go downhill and uphill to ushguli. But also the cable car is really close by. Though, it is on aire quiet road than the town itself. The Garden has a few hammocks and the room is perfectly fitting for wither one or two. We definetely come again. :)
Iason Guest House is run by a nice family. There is plenty of space to park if you are coming with your own car. If you come by bus from Kutaisi, you can ask the driver to drop you off at the intersection to Mazeri and from there you can ask the property to pick you up for a fee, or walk to the village.
The breakfast is included in the price which is always a plus when you do hiking.
You can order dinner for a fee of 30 GEL.
The place is very unique made from stone and it has style typical for this location. The view from our room was super nice. The dinner was unfortunately not that tasty as we expected. Comparing to the other guest houses and places where we stayed during our trek, whole group agreed that this dinner was the worst. However, this was the only place where we could order and choose what we are going to eat.
The plus is also very friendly and huge dog who will accompany you.
Great family atmosphere with 2 sisters running the lovely guest house. Very warm and welcoming to us after our 4 day trek. Breakfast and dinner available for an extra cost which taste nice.
Very comfortable and clean guest house in a great location with fantastic views! Lots of space to hang out in the beautiful garden and balcony, and possible to walk into town for dinner. The staff were incredibly welcoming and hospitable and took amazing care of one of our party who unfortunately fell sick during our stay. We would definitely return to stay again in Mestia
Betegi guest house was our favorite accommodation on the Mestia to Ushguli hike. It was very clean and the rooms were very comfortable. Although the bathrooms are shared bathrooms they were very clean and well maintained. The dinner was great and the best food we had on the hike. There was a great patio to relax and enjoy the view in the afternoon. The family was lovely and available for any questions we had. A really nice place.
Located in the small village of Iprali, this was by far the best guest house i stayed in during the Mestia-Usghuli trek. A super kind family, and very comfortable set up - clean & well equipped, warm and safe. Dinner was absolutely delicious and abundant, too!!
