The room was stunning. Our view was onto another building but it wasn't about that, the design, facilities and comfort of the room were stunning, we were blown away. The small touches like the dog bowls (even though we didn't have a dog with us, we are dog lovers and noticed them), the power show (wow!), the bed, just everything :)

Good value, nice pub with great views. Staff were all happy friendly and seemed to enjoy their jobs. Food was way above what I was expecting and of a very high standard. Breakfast was nice and lots of hot fresh coffee.
Perfect for rustic breaks in the countryside, an Inn is a small property with basic hotel services and typically traditional decor. Inns are fully licensed and have a bar providing food and drinks in the evening – distinguishing them from country or guest houses.
The porch, with a bench, radiator and coat hooks is brilliant for when you get back from a walk, so you can get any wet /muddy gear off before you go into the house. Excellent location for the lovely walks alongside the amazingly clear river, and good selection of pubs with a good selection of good (especially recommended the food in the Farmyard Inn!)
It is a beautiful 17th century, stone built cottage in an absolutely beautiful village. There are a couple of shops, 3 pubs with in 1 min walk.
The property is well maintained and tastefully decorated. Excellent kitchen, dinning room and lounge. All 3 lovely bedrooms are doubles, one is on the ground floor if you have anyone with accessability issues it's perfect. Location wise it's very close to Bakewell, Buxton and matlock. There is a bus that serves the village that goes to all 3. We will return.
