The location was convenient for me to attend a hospital appointment and to visit some friends who lived in the area. I knew the area so I felt comfortable being on my own.

Kings Arms Hotel by Greene King Inns, hotel in Wrotham

The Kings Arms Hotel is in the centre of the old English town of Westerham, 5 minutes’drive from the M25. Traditional food is served in the friendly bar and restaurant.

Staff were lovely both at reception and in the bar. The bed was comfy, and the food was nice, but the facilities otherwise were very outdated and need an overhaul. I was expecting a higher standard than this for the price paid.

Very convenient location on the North Downs / Pilgrims Way. This is an old inn so I expected it to be a bit rickety and wobbly and it was. The room was pretty well fitted out and the bed was comfortable. I should have booked a room with a bath so that I could sooth my aching legs after a 20 mile walk but the shower was good and hot with reasonable pressure.

Check in was quick and friendly. The room was so clean and comfortable and the room more than big enough for me. Bed was super comfy and the breakfast (full English) was amazing. I had dinner in the pub the night before and that was also really good quality with the service was so friendly.

This is a 13th century Inn on the Pilgrims Way and has both the charm and the disadvantages of an old property, with creaky floors and ill-fitting windows. It was well located in the village and great for those walking the long distance hiking trail. The room was comfortable although with limited headroom due to the sloping eaves. It had a TV and sofa and was a good size. Breakfast was excellent and served quickly.
