Greeted with nice welcome, heating was put on for us to dry soggy gloves etc. Dinner was amazing , the food all came at the same time,.piping hot and delicious, 8 of us and no one said any less than amazing. Desert also great. And then to breakfast, ample toast kept coming , large pots of tea and coffee and choice of breakfast ... host very good as well and stood making us laugh in the bar after dinner, service was great, would defo use again if we are.in the area..

The dinner and the breakfast were delicious. The location was great - the town was charming - and the walk along the Wye River was lovely. Our hosts, Tony and Wendy were very friendly and helpful - helping us find accomodations in Snowdonia for the following day. We would definitely return if we are in the area again.

Beautifully decorated and comfortable room with a shower, flat screen TV and a kettle. The bar area is very cosy with a log fire and rustic log beams. We opted to have an evening meal which was well presented and delicious. The location is very peaceful at night and we didn't hear any noise from the bar. Breakfast is a traditional breakfast which was delicious and a great start to the day. All in all this is an exceptional accommodation, excellent value for money and we can highly recommend it.
