The complimentary breakfast was excellent and there were several choices. I had the salmon, eggs and sourdough toast. The room was spacious and comfortable, the staff were friendly and helpful and the decor and ambiance of the pub and restaurant was pleasant. The food was delicious. It was a pleasure to stay at The Fisherman's Haunt.

Beautiful quirky place with a fab beer garden. Food was so good. Had an evening meal and breakfast.
Staff were so friendly and made you feel so welcome.
Single room was cosy, lovely and comfortable..was a little cold , but if I knew how to work the heated towel rail, before the morning, think that would have warmed it up.
Very popular with locals as well as other guests. Restaurant.was full for the evening meal..and rooms fully booked.

We really enjoyed our 2 night stay and would have been happy to extend it given the opportunity. The room was clean spacious and comfortable and given that they are built around the courtyard it felt as if we had our own patio outside.
All the staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming and the food was well presented and delicious. The location in a peaceful country hamlet between Blandford and Wimbourne was perfect for a relaxing break and very dog friendly. An absolute gem.

The decor of the rooms and pub area is very cosy but also modern.
The rooms are a great size and the bed is so comfortable! Detail in the rooms is really lovely. We had dinner there also which was good. The staff were very friendly with the lady that runs it( Hannah?) Being so friendly and clearly wants her guests to enjoy their stay. The breakfast was also very good 👍
The location was good for pubs and restaurants - all in walking distance of the guest house. It was also conveniently located for getting to Poole. Décor was beautiful and the room and bathroom was spacious. The staff were very friendly; there was no breakfast menu but you could let them know exactly what you wanted.
The bed was super comfy, the breakfast was super yummy and filling, and my dinner on the first night was absolutely amazing. I loved that there was a toothbrush set in the bathroom, as I had forgotten mine. The staff were so nice and very welcoming.
Location is excellent, Trevor is excellent, everything he did was over & above the expected, he even made my wife a cake for her Birthday!
Bed was very comfy, the paddock is a wonderful place to sit & watch the fire. 30 mins from Poole, the Old inn was excellent. It won’t be the last time we visit.
Lovely hotel, room was perfect, ate in the hotels restaurant for dinner and breakfast, food was lovely on both occasions
Staff were really friendly and helpful
