Very nice pub with comfortable room. Evening meal was very good, and portions were large. Breakfast was served quickly and was exactly to our requirements. The need to log in our car for the car park was well signposted and staff reminded us when we checked in. Great views from our room, Dere Street.

Ravensworth Arms by Chef & Brewer Collection, hotel in Gateshead

With panoramic views of beautiful countryside, the Ravensworth Arms Hotel is a charming pub with bright, traditional rooms.

I have just stayed 3 nights in one of the front rooms. Firstly, the staff were so friendly! They all had a smile to say hello and were really helpful. The location of the hotel is perfect, it was a short walk into Kibblesworth. The room is pristine, quiet, and comfortable; I especially love the coffee bar/box. I had both breakfast and dinner, the food was great and cooked well. Definitely staying here again when I come back!

Rooms are quiet well away from the active area of the pub. Rooms were very comfortable. Breakfasts and evening meal were good. Car parking was fine even on a Friday night when the inn was fairly busy. Excellent Inn style accommodation

Rural, roadside Inn/accommodation in quiet village. Inn is local focal point and can get quite busy at night which says a lot for the quality of food available. Clean room, comfy bed and good facilities. Ample parking, good freshly cooked breakfast. Well priced and very good food in evenings.

Warm welcome and comfortable clean rooms. Dinner in the pub was excellent! Menu to suit most tastes and speciality is home made pies, which were fantastic. Portions large and well priced. Dining area was full on a Wednesday night with locals and people travelling to the pub; good reputation for food in local area. Pub located in small hamlet in stunning countryside.

Really friendly staff, a great location, and some fantastic food are on offer at The Anchor Inn. If you're stopping there be sure to secure a table early for an evening meal as they get really busy.
