The Hut in which I stayed was just perfect; out in the gardens of the Pear Tree, the staff could not be more welcoming toward me, or indeed my dog, who the staff made a big fuss of!! The welcome basked was a lovely touch, and everything fitted in the hut really well; I've stayed in the main Inn before, which was lovely, but the outside huts are just great. It was.t great weather, but I had a little deck around the side of the Hut, which was perfect, secluded and private.

The hotel is absolutely charming and picturesque. The staff are very friendly and welcoming and go out of their way to make sure guests are completely satisfied. The room facilities (a garden room as we travelled with our dog) was very rustic but well equipped and everything is of high quality. We had a superb dinner in the evening and a terrific cooked breakfast the next morning. The buffet was copious and included lovely fresh fruit, yogurt etc.
