Friendly staff, comfortable bed, food lovely for both breakfast and dinner and nothing is too much trouble.
Perfect for rustic breaks in the countryside, an Inn is a small property with basic hotel services and typically traditional decor. Inns are fully licensed and have a bar providing food and drinks in the evening, which distinguishes them from country or guest houses.
The building is a very old inn. There are signs of upgrading. There were 9 rooms 2 on ground floor, fully refurbished,
and a further 7 on a higher floor acces by means of stairs. There is plently of parking spaces although this gets full at meal times as the inn (pub) seems very popular for food.
The pub itself and the location were fantastic. The food was excellent - we had dinner in the evening and breakfast the next morning - the full English was one of the best I've had! Staff were polite and friendly and all in all, a great stay.
A lovely stay, room (and bathroom) was spacious, spotlessly clean and well maintained. Restaurant staff were very accommodating at dinner and breakfast. Ideally located for Glastonbury high street and tor.
Loved the inn - you could see it was old by many of the features - not just tarted up. The staff were really friendly and the food (dinner and breakfast) were excellent. Our room was nice and quiet, despite being near the road and our bathroom was exceptional.
Room a bit small but nice big bathroom and comfortable bed. Only tea available no coffee in room.
Breakfast was superb. We booked for dinner, which was very tasty. Must try if you staying there.
