White Hart Hotel, hotel in Welwyn

A 600-year-old coaching inn located in the centre of St Albans, White Hart Hotel sits opposite the world-famous Cathedral and Abbey. Guests can dine in a traditional oak-panelled, candlelit...

We liked everything about the White Hart. It had a good friendly pub atmosphere, with a good local pub feel to it. The staff were very friendly and hard working but nice and relaxed too, making us welcome on arrival and chatting to us when in the pub on the evening. Our room had everything in it you needed and was clean and functional. Our lunch in the pub was nice and we enjoyed our breakfast on the morning we left. The White Hart is right in the centre of St Albans and is very well placed for the shops, market and also the Cathedral and gardens.

Very comfortable. Nicely decorated. Nice big TV and a fridge. Option for room service if you wanna be lazy. Provided tea and coffee and milk. We had dinner in the restaurant and breakfast in the morning and all of it was delicious. Also the staff that we spoke to through out the whole of our stay were so nice and friendly. It was service with a smile:) this place far exceeded our expectations. We will definitely be coming back!

It is such a beautiful building with so much character throughout. Our room was big with a large comfortable bed. The bathroom was amazing with a huge spa bath and double sink. The whole place was really clean. The restaurant serves fantastic food, so we had both dinner and breakfast in there. Every single member of staff that we interacted with was particularly helpful and friendly. I really was so impressed with the service throughout our stay. I loved everything about it here and would definitely come back again 😊
