Breakfast was delicious, so was the pizza and steak we had for dinner. Staff very friendly, pub very cosy with the log fire. Very comfy bed and all the facilities we could need in the room.
Perfect for rustic breaks in the countryside, an Inn is a small property with basic hotel services and typically traditional decor. Inns are fully licensed and have a bar providing food and drinks in the evening – distinguishing them from country or guest houses.
Lovely old inn in peaceful location. Staff friendly and courteous. Nice restaurant good choice of dishes. Great stop off for Channel Tunnel. Pretty room with lovely touches. Would definitely stay again.
Food was nice. Room was rustic but perfect for the age of the building. Could of done with more attention to Juice or drinks at breakfast if I had to give feedback. But I'd say I definatlet rebook and use it as a stop over. Half hour from the channel tunnel.
Complimentary Rubis in room was a nice touch. Quirky room, comfortable bed, great breakfast and we also enjoyed dinner in the restaurant on the evening of our arrival
What a fab house! We really loved Leacon Hall Oast .... and were made extremely welcome by hosts Linda and Patrick.
We had a wonderful candlelit dinner cooked by Patrick at historic Leacon Hall, and just adored our time in The Oast House!
Perfect for family gatherings, barbq's, sight-seeing and walking.
Couldn't ask for more!
This is a beautiful old Inn, with lots of character. The rooms are wonderful. Food was fabulous, views were lovely. Staff were very friendly. It was a great experience
The Woolpack has charm; probably because of its location and its carefully engineered decor. Lined with old boarding with peeling paint, it exudes rustic atmosphere.
From the moment we pulled up outside it looked like the ideal night in a little country pub. The styling and decor was quaint yet still fresh and contemporary. The bed and bath both exceeded expectations. Little touches like the espresso machine, milk in the fridge just outside the door and the port/liquer was delicious! Even having a bluetooth radio that actually synced easily to a device was appreciated.
The food here was brilliant! Dinner and breakfast both superb.
The location is stunning - the rooms were exemplary - the breakfast hearty - the dinner menu plentiful - all in all this was a most fantastic place to stay and can not wait to return. Highly recommend. I have refrained from putting any pictures up as do not want to spoil your guaranteed blissful surprise at just how beautiful this pub is.
Charming and cozy inn with lovely pub. Friendly and hospitable staff. Comfortable and clean rooms with thoughtful features.
