Quite rustic iin its feel. I particularly liked the games they had in the bar. Breakfast was ok and good as half price although not included in the stay. There is traffic noise due to being on the main road however as an older building i could see they are probably unable to install new windows but this didnt detract from our stay. Very comfy bed and good coffee and tea facilities.

I booked the hotel for a colleague traveling for work and she found the hotel and room very charming. There was a warm welcome, helpful, hoists, open fire, and country feel.
Highly recommended.

From arrival to departure, you could not fault the staff at The Baskerville Arms. Everything was top notch, from the rooms with beautiful large bath towels, (such a difference to normal hotels) to the staff who were very attentive, informative and made you feel very welcome. The breakfast was fab too. My stay completed exceeded my expectations and I would have no hesitation in returning. Thank you for making my weekend even more special.

Hotel Review
We stayed at this hotel for one night with a friend and absolutely loved it. The location is convenient, and there’s a lovely pub downstairs with an aesthetic interior and delicious breakfast.
The room was spacious, warm, and beautifully designed, with a very comfortable bed. Everything was excellent and of a high standard. The staff were also incredibly friendly and welcoming.
Being close to the train station made the location even more convenient. Overall, our stay was wonderful, and if we visit Oxford again, we’ll definitely stay here.

We stayed in the King Deluxe, on hindsight we would have preferred the Superior Room which was below our room and had more light coming through.
Can highly recommend the crispy shredded beef starter, amazing, could have eaten a second plate!
Live music also good and a great pub in general.
Perfect for rustic breaks in the countryside, an Inn is a small property with basic hotel services and typically traditional decor. Inns are fully licensed and have a bar providing food and drinks in the evening, which distinguishes them from country or guest houses.
Great location for walking the Thames Path. Right by the river. Good size room, good room facilities, comfortable bed and quality linen. The bath was great especially as I was walking! Good breakfast- liked the hot food taken to order. Dinner was good value.
Friendly staff. Food was good. We had breafast and an evening meal at the hotel and both were very good.. Good selection of real ales at the bar(Hook Norton Brewery). Comfortable room. Some good walks in the area. The Thames path was just down the road. Would definitely recommend the Crown Inn. Would stay again without hesitation. Thank you. Dave and Erica.
Friendly staff, good food ( both breakfast and dinner). We particularly enjoyed sitting outside the bar on the terrace watching the golf. We were staying just one night on a walking holiday and felt welcome.
We had a very nice dinner and wonderful breakfast at The Crown Inn at Benson!
We liked the friendly staff, and especially the professionalism of the General Manager, Hugo Cheston!!
