Our experience from arrival to leaving was one of total admiration for the way we were treated and of the facilities were way above what we paid for
They were 5star and the host, David, was extremely helpful at all times

Just 13 minutes outside Brighton ((or less in the evening) we found this hotel to be perfectly located for visiting our family in Brighton. With its own car park. The room (6) was spacious and very well appointed. The heating was instantly adjustable. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. Breakfasts were made to order and good. We didn't join in the Sunday night quiz which was on while we has a meal, but it sounded fun. There was no disturbance from the pub downstairs at all in our 5 nights.

Friendly, cosy place to stay. Good sized room and bathroom. Quiet location.
Convenient for our stay as we were attending a wedding 2 miles away.
Tea / coffee making facilities in the room.
Excellent full English breakfast, tea in a tea pot!
Perfect for rustic breaks in the countryside, an Inn is a small property with basic hotel services and typically traditional decor. Inns are fully licensed and have a bar providing food and drinks in the evening, which distinguishes them from country or guest houses.
Beautiful hotel in lovely grounds, an ideal location to explore the South Downs. Breakfast and dinner were delicious with excellent service. Our suite was extremely comfortable and spacious and we were made very welcome.
If i could score higher I would. This is a hidden gem. Stayed in courtyard room 1. Extremely comfortable bed and great shower. Lovely pubs a few miles away for dinner and the breakfast was very nice. Cracking grounds and views
Fantastic location with elegant and well furnished country house hotel. We stayed in a junior suite that accommodated two adults and our two-year old well. Lovely dinner on arrival where we were attended by a charming waiter and my partner was even able to converse with him in her native Spanish.
Glorious setting and garden. Calm enveloping elegant comfort. Beautifully appointed rooms and bathroom - many thoughtful touches from the comfortable seating, to the well presented tea tray complete with teapot. Excellent dinner and breakfast with charming table service.
Staff absolutely amazing all of them. Dinner wasn’t up to the cost or the two rosettes on the two days we dined. Wine prices were outrageous. A multiple of three or four on cost I can accept but this was unfair
Breakfast was delicious. A good choice of wholesome dishes, beautifully cooked and served to order. The staff were excellent, well trained and friendly. We were unexpectedly upgraded to a superb room. The gardens and the house are all kept very nicely and they appear to have had a lot of recent decorations carried out and chairs were being taken for recovering. A pianist played on both evenings whilst we had dinner - another bonus for us.
Room was very comfortable.
We enjoyed our dinner in the bar area which very comfortable.
We had breakfast in the restaurant and very nice indeed. With a good variation to choose from.
The property is a beautiful building, full of Victorian character.
The staff were very friendly and efficient.
Excellent breakfast and good dinner.
Our master suite (a free upgrade) was huge with an excellent bathroom and generous separate lounge.
