Everything was excellent. The bed was comfortable, food was delicious, staff and owners were welcoming and helpful. It was also very clean.

Lovely village. Perfect location for hiking Haytor in all it's glory. Clean, comfortable rooms. Attentive staff. Excellent bar selection. Good food. We lucked out to be booked in for a winter wonderland with snow enhancing our experience. The rain that followed wasn't great but fortunately we were scheduled to check out anyhow. We highly rate the experience.

Great location right off of the main road. The restaurant was attached so it was easy to make meal accommodation- and the food was superb.
Beds were comfy enough and bathroom was updated. Love having tea, water and hot chocolate in the room.

Great location, value for money and good homemade food. But the greatest treasure is the staff, friendly helpful, always there to take an extra mile.

What a lovely place! Lovely quiet location and a lovely pub. Our room was so comfortable and clean, we loved it.
We also ate breakfast in the morning which was excellent/good value.
I would highly recommend this place.
Perfect for rustic breaks in the countryside, an Inn is a small property with basic hotel services and typically traditional decor. Inns are fully licensed and have a bar providing food and drinks in the evening – distinguishing them from country or guest houses.
I chose The Cridford Inn to experience a bit of old-style English Inn culture and my expectations were quite high. They were not only met but clearly exceeded. A very quaint and lovely inn. It melded modern amenities perfectly into the old building (mind your head at some places, people were smaller back then). All was clean, the staff very friendly and the food tasted deliciously. The Cridford Inn is situated deep in the countryside offering nice walks. I'd definitely like to stay there again.
The very welcoming and friendly family that run the inn. Both the evening meal and the breakfast provided were exceptional. The inn is set in a beautiful hamlet recommend visitors do a short walk around village and church.
Full English Breakfast with Black Pudding... Excellent... You HAVE TO STAY for dinner... it's a MUST!!! This gem is a little off the beaten track but even getting there on those single track roads is the starting point of the experience. It was hands down the best stay in our week long B&B travel tour through Cornwall
The location is tucked away in a wonderful part of Devon, close enough to Exeter and close enough for exploring its surrounding area. Having a car is a must as Trusham is not really easily accessed by foot and apart from local taxi services (quite expensive but speak to Cridford Inn and they can help).
Lovely family owned treehouse with great beer and fab breakfast.
I will return as we have another wedding to attend next year locally.
Historic inn in small village convenient for Darmoor and coast, very friendly and quaint .
