A lovely country pub. It was perfect for my needs. Breakfast was a little quirky as a few more instructions would have eased the use of the breakfast room, but I managed. For my next visit it will be easy.

While a hotel like this is expected to be old, it was not a “run down” kind of old, but clean and charming. The classic breakfast (can’t remember what it was called) was first rate.

Lovely clean room (I took my charming dog). Lovely food; breakfast was well presented. You can ring the night porter, if you need to take the dog out early. A lot of money and work has been done to make your stay first class.

Excellent all round. Lovely room (bit small with the extra bed in for my grandson but we managed), wonderful hosts who couldn’t do more for us, amazing dinner and breakfast. Would definitely stay again. Really good area for walking too.
Lovely pub hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. Claudio, Annie and Luca were all very attentive and welcoming. We had great pizza for dinner and enjoyed our stay at this very clean, quaint little pub.
Everything staff & room both amazing
Food in the box restaurant excellent too, had breakfast everything you could ask for was there, had dinner at the night and again beautiful.
Would highly recommend this hotel, went to the museum the next day
Old inn, nicely remodeled to be comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful, the food good. We ate dinner 2 nights and enjoyed both, breakfast buffet was fine. Even though the building was old, the rooms were updated and we had no complaints at all with the facilities. A good stay was had

However, the thing that really stood out for me was the service. Wesley, Natalie and Barbie went out of their way to make my time at the hotel comfortable and memorable.
Great location near the canal and excellent communication and service from Elaine Nadia and Carol. Fabulous continental breakfast hamper and such a comfortable bed. I stayed in Willow. The Boat Inn (a traditional canal pub) and the waterways museum are a two minute walk away.
Lovely historic inn in a lovely village, comfortable room, great food.
