The location was good set in beautiful rural countryside which I happily had some time to explore once I arrived before dark but equally had good transport links, the member of staff on duty staff on duty when I arrived was very helpful in helping me sort out they internet connection when the technology when wrong, despite being a pub sandwiched between two busy highways my room was surprisingly quite, I also liked having real fresh milk for my cups of tea something you rarely find in any hotel

This photo is not representative of the 2 rooms I saw. Room 1 was very shabby and bare basic. room 2 where I was moved to was larger and much better but the furnishings were tired. nice friendly atmosphere in the pub. However, this is a villagers pub not a restaurant.

Perfect for rustic breaks in the countryside, an Inn is a small property with basic hotel services and typically traditional decor. Inns are fully licensed and have a bar providing food and drinks in the evening, which distinguishes them from country or guest houses.
It is a lovely countryside Inn with a family touch. The staff are friendly and I felt like at home. I stayed also for the dinner which was also very nice. I am happy to recommend it and I will book it again in the future.
Staff were lovely and accommodating with our baby / pram. Got us a nice quiet corner for dinner and we forgot our baby float and one was provided. Room was clean and spacious. Lovely grounds to go for a walk.
Beautiful location, amazing service and comfy beds. Included breakfast was delicious - and the Brasserie dinner we had was the best meal out we’ve had for ages!
We stayed here as a stop over to get to Liverpool the next morning. It was easy to find. The dinner was fantastic. Local ingredients and great menu. The rooms were lovely, perfect for our needs. Breakfast was really great too. Great Experience and would definitely return.
