Thorpeness is a lovely place to visit. We had a wonderful 2 night stay at the Dolphin Inn. Breakfast and dinner was simply divine, the room was spacious, clean and our bed was so comfy! The little touches of chocolate and brownies were such a lovely gesture. The staff were amazing and friendly and the location of the Dolphin Inn was just perfect!! We highly recommend this lovely gem of a place. Thank you for a wonderful stay😍

Warm welcome. Friendly helpful staff. Good food. A truly capacious and well-appointed room, with the most comfortable bed I’ve slept in. It was nice to have a lounge area where I could sit and read a paper after breakfast or a book after dinner. The real fire was a real bonus.

Dinner menu was rather limited, and we waited rather a long time for our dishes to be served. Breakfast was cooked to order and was very good, but limited to one cup of coffee

We loved the setting of the hotel. It had a cozy atmosphere and the staff were all very friendly and efficient. The rooms were spacious and well furnished. The dinner and breakfast were exceptionally good. Although we don't play golf this was an excellent hotel to use as a base for a stay in the Aldeburgh area.

This was a truly exceptional place to stay. The staff were absolutely wonderful - nothing was too much trouble and they were ALL so friendly. The room was lovely, with a large double bed and many thoughtful additions. The breakfasts and evening meals were delicious on all 3 days of our stay, and the inn was vibrant, with a lovely atmosphere.
