Room was great, the pub fantastic and food even better. However the best thing about the Priory is the people who run it. Nothing was too much trouble and they made our stay really special.
In the Cotswold village of Frampton Mansell, The Crown Inn is a 17th-century ‘cider house’ with log fires, traditional home-cooked food, locally brewed real ales and good company!

The accommodation was excellent. The staff were friendly, efficient and helpful. The pub garden was great and very relaxing. The guest breakfast room was light and cheerful. Nice paintings from a local artist on the walls. Tables well set out. Good cooked breakfast.

It was very good, We didn't realise we hadn't paid for breakfast in advance nor that if we had booked direct with them it would have been cheaper
Perfect for rustic breaks in the countryside, an Inn is a small property with basic hotel services and typically traditional decor. Inns are fully licensed and have a bar providing food and drinks in the evening, which distinguishes them from country or guest houses.
We booked this quite late on a Saturday evening and then arrived soon after, but this was not a problem at all. They managed to get us in to the restaurant and we just quickly changed and headed to the bar and then dinner. The food was fabulous, the staff are fabulous and the old buildings were fabulous! We got chatting with other guests in the bar which was really nice. Breakfast was wonderful... So we were really happy.
The hotel has a really lovely garden where we ate a very delicious dinner. Breakfast was generous and very tasty, well cooked etc Staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room was beautifully decorated and very peaceful.
The staff were very helpful and friendly.
The dinner in the restaurant was excellent, as was the lunch that I had in the bar the following day before I left.
We stayed eight days so had the opportunity to "eat through" their menu. It was all excellent which is not to be assumed but the dinner offerings were varied and delicious. The breakfasts were also very good - both the cold buffet and the menu choices - excellent.
Centre of village. Beautifully decorated room with a lovely view over the garden. Comfortable bed. Great dinner with good menu choices and local wines, including catering for coeliacs. Fabulous breakfast.
