Nice quiet countryside location. Separate quite bar. Food was excellent. Although a little dated, it was more rustic than run down. A few repairs required. Staff were wonderful.

A fabulous stop on a long journey - a delightful, pretty hotel with old-fashioned charm but modern cleanliness and comfort. We had drinks outside and an excellent dinner in the lovely dining room - good menu and high quality. There is a free car park and the location is great, with shops and other places to eat on the foorstep. We would visit again and highly recommend it!

Well, this was perfect for us this trip. Great atmosphere, lovely staff, and amazing breakfast. Wonderful relaxing areas throughout the property A proper traditional inn in a delightful small town. We loved this hotel with it's instant access to the shops and bars on the high street and it's own timeless charm.

We have stayed at the swan four times now, as we just love everything about the building. We have stayed in the main hotel and the courtyard and we do prefer the courtyard, just our preference. The location is great. The staff are very friendly and attentive. Rooms are very clean. Breakfast is superb and this time we had dinner with family which was delicious. We will definitely be staying a fifth time, highly recommend.

The best thing was the friendly welcome. Staff were great. Rooms were very comfortable. At dinner, my main course was good but the starter was below par.
