Very welcoming staff , beautiful old pub with wood burner, great pub food for evening meals, lovely breakfast. Accommodation was clean. Reason for stay was the electric car charging else wouldn’t of found this little real gem of a pub with accommodation

Prompt check in, parking is secure. Great bar area. Comfortable bed which can always be a make or break of a room. Good breakfast menu and enough choice. Some TLC needed in small areas but very good value for the price !!! Would definitly stay again .. thank you 😀
Perfect for rustic breaks in the countryside, an Inn is a small property with basic hotel services and typically traditional decor. Inns are fully licensed and have a bar providing food and drinks in the evening, which distinguishes them from country or guest houses.
Perfect location by the river. Nice large room with quality fixtures. Breakfast very Very good with large choice. Evening meal choice was much more nicer than offered by typical inns. Free Parking provided close to hotel.
The staff were very friendly and helpful, with excellent communication in the lead up to and during our stay. The one bed apartment was perfect for our needs for a weekend, very clean, and the kitchen was thoughtfully equipped with most items you could need. Our dinner on the first night at the hotel restaurant was nice, there was a good selection for both food and drink and these were reasonably priced. Overall we had a lovely visit and wish we had more time to explore the beautiful surroundings.
The inn is set in a very lovely location, with plenty of activities to do. No words to describe the beauty of the surroundings. Good place for walks or kayaking. We walked to Monmouth and back round the River Wye, going through woods and fields of meadows.
The room and bathroom is very clean. Staff is also very helpful. A young lady by the name of Beth helped me to take me with our two suitcases as my husband parked our car. All the staff who served us dinner and breakfast were very warm and friendly.
The setting right in Symonds Yat was fantastic. The views are excellent and it was very peaceful, almost tranquil. The dinner was expensive but very tasty. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
