Excellent location. Spacious, comfortable room with modern bath. Steps away from the village green. Just around the corner from England’s oldest Inn, the Porch House ( excellent food). Also, very close to the village square. Plenty of great places to shop and eat. Keyless entry.

Historic inn with a charming old village vibe. Our triple room was roomy, clean, with comfortable beds and a sweet country decor. Great staff and breakfast included. We also liked how Stow-on-the-Wold had many shops to meet all your needs yet still retained that small village feel. Side note: you need to climb narrow and steep stairs to get to the rooms which for us was not a problem.

Breakfast and staff were excellant Dinner was not value for money, very small portions Room was a lovely size and super view, but very disappointed that it hadn’t been maintained well. Safety chain missing from room door, no light in lobby of room, light missing in bathroom over washhand basin, no working bulbs in outside lights, bed side light shades had cobwebs on. The car park we used, at the Orangey had a massive deep hole where you drove in or out, could easily damage car suspension if not very very careful. .
