Excellent staff, especially Stuart who was very nice and helpful, close to town centre amenities, very good breakfast. Room was a little dated but clean.

Lovely place to stay with friendly staff - nothing was too much trouble - in a pretty & quiet small country town . Breakfast was cracking & we really appreciated that they were able to accommodate our request for a slightly earlier breakfast time. A stay here is well recommended.

Food was all excellent - the setting was homely with some nice quirky touches. The accommodation was to a good standard and although it had no desk the owner provided a desk and table so I could work.

Clean and confortable Inn. Close by to Edinburgh airport.
Perfect for rustic breaks in the countryside, an Inn is a small property with basic hotel services and typically traditional decor. Inns are fully licensed and have a bar providing food and drinks in the evening, which distinguishes them from country or guest houses.
The apartment was decorated to an average standard. It was clean and spacious. The staff were very welcoming on arrival and the dinner in the Bistro was tasty and enjoyable. Our bedroom was located at the back of the apartment so was quiet. the beds were large and comfortable.
The team were helpful in carrying our bags up the stairs. The dinner in the restaurant was top rate - really good food. Breakfast was simple but nice. It was nice to have the experience of staying in a castle that has a modern feel.
I found the hotel a bit dated and overpriced, the room certainly was not deluxe and would benefit from coat hooks and a fridge. The spa was very dated a tad neglected I would suggest that they invest in a costume spinner aswell.
Very friendly & welcoming staff, excellent cooked breakfast but a little limited if you prefer a continental one, no fresh fruit. Dinner choice very good too , beds very comfortable & Easy walk to the centre, castle & train station.
The location is very picturesque and the main exterior was a beautiful. A small castle surrounded by woodland, a small village and farmland. The interior decor of the 'Four Poster' room was lovely and had an authentic castle feel (matched the photos well). The restaurant was brilliant! The food at dinner was exceptional and breakfast was lovely too.
This is a comfortable, well-managed hotel in an ideal location for exploring the old city of Stirling. We also enjoyed a delicious dinner in the hotel restaurant.
