The apartment was decorated to an average standard. It was clean and spacious. The staff were very welcoming on arrival and the dinner in the Bistro was tasty and enjoyable. Our bedroom was located at the back of the apartment so was quiet. the beds were large and comfortable.

The team were helpful in carrying our bags up the stairs. The dinner in the restaurant was top rate - really good food. Breakfast was simple but nice. It was nice to have the experience of staying in a castle that has a modern feel.

I found the hotel a bit dated and overpriced, the room certainly was not deluxe and would benefit from coat hooks and a fridge. The spa was very dated a tad neglected I would suggest that they invest in a costume spinner aswell.

The location is very picturesque and the main exterior was a beautiful. A small castle surrounded by woodland, a small village and farmland. The interior decor of the 'Four Poster' room was lovely and had an authentic castle feel (matched the photos well). The restaurant was brilliant! The food at dinner was exceptional and breakfast was lovely too.
