Beautiful quiet location en route to Audley End house and Thaxted. We were given a very friendly welcome and shown to a comfortable room, exceptionally clean and with all amenities. Again a warm welcome at breakfast time, with the largest breakfast I’ve ever undertaken. The dining room was characterful and homely with even a dining table within an inglenook

A lovely room above a tavern. Check-in was smooth, and everything was as described. One train stop from Stansted airport. Thoughful touches like robes and slippers, a great meal downstairs, and a convenience store next door. Bed was very comfortable and the bottles of water in the refrigerator and couple of small snacks were much appreciated. We enjoyed our stay, Thank you!
The hotel was a short walk from the airport and easy to find. The staff were super helpful and friendly. Despite being so close to the airport, the room was very quiet with great blackout curtains and a comfy bed making for a fantastic night's sleep. My choice of fish and chips for dinner was very tasty (sadly there was no gravy) and the breakfast was pretty good too. Definitely recommend it for a long layover at Stansted Airport.
The hotel was clean and welcoming - and the amenities available were excellent.
I was pleased with the food choice and quantity both at dinner and breakfast.
