Great restaurant/pub in charming inn tucked up a slight hill. We enjoyed the meals. A bonus was the drop off laundry (Full Steam Ahead) about a block away. Very quiet at night. We are glad we stayed here - cozy!

The property was close to the beamish museum. The room was large and comfortable and the bath was fantastic. We ate at the stables and had a very tasty dinner. Breakfast was lovely. The team were all very polite and helpful.
We stayed in the Cherry room. Absolutely stunning room with huge 4-poster bed and rustic furnishings. The bathroom was large with a huge bath tub and beautiful walk in shower. It all felt very luxurious.
South Causey Inn was really quirky and full of personality. The staff were brilliant, and really went out of their way to make me feel welcome and comfortable. The room was a great size and really comfortable.
