We had a warm welcome, the service was friendly and laid-back. Breakfast was automatically included - and tasty. The shower (lovely big towels) and bedroom were lovely and comfy and everything was prettily decorated with lovely little touches like the hamper of tea making materials and friendly cats on the premises. The weather was very hot and there were fans in the rooms. We had our dinner there too and it was very relaxed despite the lateness of the hour. Checkout was a relaxed 11am- nobody was standing outside waiting for us to leave.

Excellent breakfast. A first class experience, except for ..... it was a hot day and the bed duvet was too thick, so I was too hot and could not sleep. A hotel of this calibre should offer a thinner , summer duvet. I will happily stay here again, but will bring my own duvet. Facilities were excellent, staff very nice.
