Great location (lovely sleepy village but also only 10 minutes from Cadwell Park), friendly staff, great fry up. While the twin room was small (as stated in the description, so not a surprise) the beds were comfortable and there was a good supply of tea, coffee and biscuits.
Overall good value for money for the price.

Location & parking. Most staff were friendly. Room was clean and reasonable. A bit pricey but then it is located in the centre. Recommended.
Perfect for rustic breaks in the countryside, an Inn is a small property with basic hotel services and typically traditional decor. Inns are fully licensed and have a bar providing food and drinks in the evening – distinguishing them from country or guest houses.
The Red Lion Inn is wonderful! Way beyond our expectations, our room was fabulous with a huge bathroom, seating area, and with a lovely view onto the garden.
Food is excellent, cooked fresh, very tasty, plentiful, and beautifully presented. All credit to the fantastic chef. Christine and Jane are lovely ladies and it's evident that they are proud of this lovely inn.
We highly recommend a stay here, and hopefully, we'll come to stay again. Thank you!
Everything, the hosts were fantastic, our room was very clean and the bed very comfortable.
It was definitely the best guest house we have ever stayed in.
We had 2 bed rooms upstairs at the Inn. Both were beautifully decorated and furnished to a very high standard.
The shower room was lovely, nice large shower area. Continual hot water from the shower.
The bed room and shower room were spotlessly clean.
The breakfast was delicious.
The hostess and chef were very friendly and professional
This is a lovely hotel, very comfortable with great service. Christine was welcoming and attentive. The rooms were a great size. We stayed in rooms 4 & 5, which overlooked the garden area and were in a separate building. Our daughter stayed in room 1 in the main hotel. All the rooms were beautifully furnished and and very well equipped. The beds were very comfortable. We had dinner on the first night and breakfast both mornings, no complaints. Highly recommend if you are visiting the Lincolnshire Wolds.
The hosts Heather and Frank were extremely welcoming and friendly and couldn't do enough for us. We had lovely interesting chats over a superb cooked breakfast each morning. Our room was huge, quiet and beautifully decorated with a very large comfortable bed. We also liked the shower and tea and coffee making facilities in our room. The location was perfect for us as we attended a family wedding within walking distance. We also visited the local pub for dinner which has a stunning beer garden and is only 5 minutes walk away.
A wonderful place to stay. Christine, the owner, runs a tight ship and the room was beautifully appointed, a huge bathroom and everything was spotlessly clean. Our dinner was superbly cooked by Jane as was the excellent breakfast with lovely ingredients. We will return - we had a wonderful stay celebrating my birthday, and I will certainly be recommending The Red Lion to all my friends.
Steve and Angela who own the property are the nicest couple. The Hundleby Inn next door is a fabulous restaurant. The whole stay was wonderful. Everything was thoughtfully provided. Thank you so much
We were going to the Lincolnshire Heritage Aviation Centre and The Red Lion was 10 minutes away. Hospitality second to none! Rooms excellent especially Superior which was outstanding! We were greeted and taken care of by the owner who was lovely. Dinner was excellent with a good choice and all food piping hot. Breakfast was divine! Wide choice and all beautifully cooked. Don't look anywhere else in the region.....
A absolute Gem just off the beaten track spotlessly clean fantastic dinner and a excellent breakfast.
