Second stay at this hotel for the Great North Run. Lovely hotel in an excellent location.
Rooms very clean and well presented. Only downside was there was no hairdryer.

Perfect for rustic breaks in the countryside, an Inn is a small property with basic hotel services and typically traditional decor. Inns are fully licensed and have a bar providing food and drinks in the evening, which distinguishes them from country or guest houses.
There was a kitchen area, washing machine, games room etc that were all extra bonuses from what I'd usually expect from a hotel/guest house. These were a really nice addition and although I didn't get much use of them I noticed a number of the guests were.
It was clean and tidy in the room with nice decor and the bed was very comfortable to sleep on. The carpets were soft etc and it all felt homely.
A fantastic location. Beach on the doorstep & was able to walk into South Shields / Pleasure Beach / Metro station / Ferry landing to visit other places. Breakfast was lovely - a good variety of food available. Room was nice and clean. Staff were friendly and helpful. Restaurant was great - lovely food - had breakfast, lunch and dinner.
The guest house is in a perfect location for visiting local sites and is close to the nearby park and beach.
The owners were very friendly and accommodating offering a very delicious cooked breakfast in the morning cooked to order!

From the very beginning the welcome and friendliness of the staff was amazing. I arrived late at night and received a warm welcome. I stayed for 3 nights and each morning was greeted with a wonderful and delicious fully cooked breakfast which was included in the price. The location is perfect just being a 5-10 minute walk from the beach and 8 minutes walk to the Metro Station in the town centre.. There are plenty of places to eat out on the same street too. I would highly recommend this guest house to anyone.
