Very relaxing pub with a good selection of drinks and bar snacks and excellent bar staff.
Perfect for rustic breaks in the countryside, an Inn is a small property with basic hotel services and typically traditional decor. Inns are fully licensed and have a bar providing food and drinks in the evening, which distinguishes them from country or guest houses.
We have been here before so knew that it was very good. Friendly, efficient staff who looked after us well. We didn't eat dinner here but breakfast was extremely good and most parts of the restaurant were dog friendly. The parking outside can catch you out so make sure that you are parked in the free spots (the staff will point them out if you ask).
Staying here was a remarkable experience. What a winning blend of old rustic charm and every modern convenience in a roomy, spotless, tasteful and immensely comfortable environment. Congratulations, Mark! You have spared no effort in making this the perfect getaway and being the attentive and personable host.
We had an excellent stay. The room was very good -and quiet- the shower and bathroom were superb. Dinner was excellent and the breakfast, full English was one of the best I have ever had!! Staff were all attentive and very efficient. Parking was easy.
The breakfast was absolutely gorgeous, the house and grounds beautiful, the bed was comfy and the white bedlinen superb and crisp. The staff were really kind and gave us some great tips for dinner. The house is a few minutes walk into town with a great selection of places for dinner. Will definitely be back.
My boyfriend and I came from Czech Republic to stay in there for couple of days. The Studio is amazingly tidy and clean, it consists everything for comfortable stay, all the stuff in the kitchen is clean and good for cooking. The property owners are very kind people, who kindly agreed to pick us up from Street bus station as there were no buses and taxi that day. There is a shop in 2min walk, where you can buy everything you needed,we bought there stuff for our lunches and dinners. We enjoyed our stay on 100% and will be back!
Fabulous hotel/pub in heart of lovely old Somerset town. Helpful, attentive and friendly staff. Comfortable and airy bedroom, with super bed and spotlessly clean bathroom. Superb dinner cooked with great originality and flair, Nothing and excellent breakfast made for a great one night stopover Wished we could have stayed for longer. Definitely will next time. The White Hart ticks all the boxes and comes comes highly recommended.
Friendly, helpful staff. Room furnished to a high standard. Dinner was very good. Being able to watch the chef was enlightening and his food, attention to detail and encouragement to his staff was exemplary. Breakfast also very good
