Our stay here was lovely, staff friendly and helpful, Our evening meals were very nice, I thought the Venison sausage was very tasty! Location is a bit out of the way for where we needed to be, but not too far to the motorways to travel to Scunthorpe and Doncaster.

This was perfect for us. It was a single night stop over where we needed to sleep. The room is basic but clearly very clean. The pub was very friendly and the food good. Good parking facilities and also worth a walk from there down along the river path which was lovely

Nice room with good en-suite. The staff were really pleasant, especially the waitress who brought me my lovely breakfast. The amount we paid for the nice room, dinner, drinks and an excellent breakfast was really good value

Broke my journey from London to Hull and was not disappointed. I was running late and rang ahead to secure my dinner which they kindly kept warm until my arrival. Very friendly staff and good ambience in the restaurant. Food and drinks of good quality and well priced. Rooms all follow pig theme which is well done and was comfortable and very quiet. Breakfast was very good using local produce. Will certainly return.

The venue is wonderful and offers rustic charm. Breakfast and dinner were first class, and the staff were very attentive. We look forward to visiting again. This is a small wedding venue, but this did not interfere in our mini break at all. There is a lovely atmosphere and nothing is too much trouble.

Everything, from when we arrived to the minute, we left. We have stayed in many hotels and guest houses around the UK and Europe over the years, and I can honestly say the Pig Inn/Peppered Pig is one of the best places we have had the pleasure to stop in.
