The Stirling Arms Pub & Rooms, hotel in Shoreham-by-Sea

Featuring a garden, restaurant, bar and free WiFi, The Stirling Arms Pub & Rooms is located in Brighton & Hove, 1 km from Hove Beach and 2.1 km from Brighton Beach.

A very comfortable room above the pub, excellent bed, good wifi and TV, modern bathroom, well heated and friendly and helpful staff. And of course there is also the very cosy pub just below with an interesting menu and a full range of drinks which is clearly a busy community facility with a pleasant outside area which would be wonderful in the summer. Not right by the beach but if the location suits, as it did for me, then I can certainly recommend the Stirling Arms.

The rooms were lovely and homely and smelt of home washed laundry. Lovely soft towels, comfortable bed, tea and coffee making facilities. My room was at the top of a few flights of stairs so not suitable for people who cannot manage stairs. Some of the rooms are en suite some you have to share a bathroom and toilet so check when booking if this bothers you. Free private car park. I had the most delicious home made steak and stilton pie for dinner. Rooms are over a pub on the high street right next to a train station.

One of the pleasant surprises. Perfect location in the nature, would be ideal for trekking. Spotless clean. Good coffee shop, serving breakfast and dinners, but very clean kitchen available as well. I put max points for comfort and facilities- yes for youth hostel. I am planning a stay with my grandchildren !!

I wholeheartedly endorse this Inn. The staff were so welcoming and everyone was so nice. The room was warm, spacious and comfortable with plenty of towels and blankets and a real lovely feel. The breakfast was really good also - tasty and plentiful. I would definitely recommend this and I intend on staying again. Thank you.
