Firstly the location, exceptionally beautiful location, what a view ! Late at night clear starry sky and early morning quiet. Very popular and busy pub with very comfortable accommodation - we had a lovely deluxe double. Staff very friendly and personal breakfast service.

Ideally situated to visit Chatsworth House, Monsal Trail and the Dale's. This impressive building couldn't fail to impress. The car park is at the rear and parking wasn't a problem, however, if busy, parking would be difficult. There is a public car park on the other side of the green. You were welcomed by very friendly and professional staff. You were shown around the facilities and to your room. Our bedroom was on the rear, it was very well decorated, functional and clean, with a very comfy bed.Toileries were supplied, which coveted everything you would need. There was even a new toothpaste and toothbrush, just in case. You could even have fresh milk for tea and coffee, situated in a fridge in the guest area. Plus, Wellingtons and umbrellas for guest use should it rain, what a wonderful thought. The hotel is very dog friendly too. Both breakfast and evening meals were delicious, great choice and well presented. Thought out our stay, the staff couldn't do enough for you. We failed to find one thing wrong. Fantastic find and will degrees return.
Perfect for rustic breaks in the countryside, an Inn is a small property with basic hotel services and typically traditional decor. Inns are fully licensed and have a bar providing food and drinks in the evening, which distinguishes them from country or guest houses.
Beautiful building and grounds
Weather was great so it was lovely to sit outside for dinner and morning coffee.
All of the staff were so friendly
Breakfast menu was excellent
The snack / top up stations on each floor are a real treat
Thank you for a lovely stay
We had stayed here before so knew what to expect.
The bedrooms were a bit tired looking but had comfortable beds, pillows less so.
Food at dinner was OK pub grub. Breakfast had a very good choice and was priced for what you had -- a much better system than an all-in B&B rate.
Staff were all very pleasant and helpful and it felt like a happy place.
The staff at the hotel and restaurant were 1st class, we couldn't have wished for better facilities and friendliness of the staff. The air conditioning had broken down before we arrived but the manager had gone out and bought fans for all the rooms which helped tremendously with the humid conditions in the hotel, we are looking forward to our next visit to Sheffield and will definitely be staying at the Innkeepers again.
Great pub downstairs. Nice innkeeper. The location of the inn is great as well, just at the edge of Sheffield city center, very close to historic Kelham island. Rooms are cozy and have a nice view. We will definitely consider the crow inn again when we're back in sheffield.
