Excellent Breakfast (partial buffet along with served main plate. Other foods (bar snacks and dinner), well presented and interesting menu. Very helpful and friendly service. Rooms a bit funky but clean. Expansive selection of gin at the bar. Great location.

Cute little pub, friendly "locals", and good room, with little touches that made up for the size. Easy in and out, nice atmosphere.

Very good value. Bigger than average single room.
Substantial breakfast - good choice and freshly cooked.
Location not all that near the town centre and beach, though that wasn't a problem for me.

Everything was absolutely right. The location, the size of the rooms, the staff and most of all the food. The breakfast and most the dinner was delicious 😋 😍
Wonderful sea views from our room. The food at breakfast and dinner was amazing the best hotel food we have ever experienced.
The staff, without exception, went out of the way to make our stay perfect.
My wife and I spent 3 nights in this guest house, here we had a good accommodation experience, the room was clean, and the bathroom was also clean, the location was a little close to everything. I would also like to say thank you to all the staff who were excellent, with good public relations, and the food was excellent, very fresh, everything cooked at the moment. from me and my wife thank you very much
Loved the view of the uninterrupted view of the coast and the ocean, loved the warm pool, and the staff were great too. Don't forget the lovely gardens and Shanklin itself - hard to beat on the Isle of Wight. The white wine list at dinner in the Hall was good too.
The staff here are outstanding, nothing is too much to ask for, from start to finish, we were allowed to check inn early after explaining our four hour journey that included the one hour ferry crossing. assisted with our breakfast on day one, assisted carrying our "dual" suitcase down the stairs on check out.
We had a lovely time at the Harrow Lodge Hotel, the location is exceptional, the lovely people that work there are very welcoming, we had a good tip about which roads where safer to cycle on from the nice man at the bar.
We had drinks and dinner outside, and I found the view breathtaking.
The full english breakfast was delicious, we were welcomed by a lovely young lady.
Everyone was very kind to us.
We were allowed to keep our e-bikes safely inside the building, and we really appreciated it.
I strongly recommend this guest house. The bed was very comfortable and the breakfast excellent. The hostess was very friendly and welcoming. It is conveniently situated near the town centre and train and bus stations - all a short walk away.
