Perfect for rustic breaks in the countryside, an Inn is a small property with basic hotel services and typically traditional decor. Inns are fully licensed and have a bar providing food and drinks in the evening, which distinguishes them from country or guest houses.
Everything!!! The cottage is beautifully decorated from top to bottom. The kitchen is so well equipped, including a full dinner set of English fine bone china. The bedrooms are gorgeous with very comfortable beds. The views are superb. But the icing on the cake was that our hosts, Ben and Tim, could not have been more welcoming and congenial! We will definitely return and wholeheartedly recommend this fabulous cottage to all! Oh, almost forgot to say… we found lots to do and see within easy access of the cottage.
Very grateful thar staff were able to give not only cereal but also poached egg at 8.30 Sun by prior arrangement. Young woman on duty Sat evening for dinner was very helpful and a good advert for Sanquhar & the hotel
