Lifeboat Inn, hotel in St Ives

Set in St Ives and within 300 metres of Porthmeor Beach, Lifeboat Inn features a bar, allergy-free rooms, and free WiFi throughout the property.

The staff were lovely very welcoming and clearly liked their job. The place was always busy, we didn't eat so can't comment but the food looked insane. The room was stunning, the shower was a little dirty in the corners of the cubicle and the glasses on the wooden tray didn't have a nice smell to them it maybe the smell coming out of the old tray. All in all the stay was lovely and we'd come back.

The Badger Inn, hotel in Carbis Bay

Boasting a bar and a restaurant, The Badger Inn is situated in the quiet village of Lelant, west Cornwall. With free WiFi access and free on-site parking available, St.

A lovely, old, stone-built inn. The pub was friendly, busy but not overwhelming. The rooms were of a really good standard, well decorated, comfortable, with high quality 'extras' (toiletries, teas/coffees/drinks). Had a really good night's sleep, uninterrupted from the pub below. Also a really good, full English breakfast, served by a very lovely and welcoming member of staff. I also really liked the Virginia Woolf link, which I was unaware of when I booked!

The Cornubia Inn, hotel in Hayle

The Cornubia Inn features a garden, shared lounge, a restaurant and bar in Hayle. 2 km from Gwithian Beach and 11 km from St Michael's Mount, the inn offers a range of water sports facilities.

This is a lovely old Grade 11 listed pub in the village of Hayle. We arrived about 3pm and the very friendly staff gave us the keys to our spacious, comfortable room upstairs at the side of the pub. There's not much in the way of restaurants in this part of the village, so we ate in the pub, and the food was good, with very large servings. The bed was comfy and there was everything we needed for tea, and toiletries in the bathroom. The pub doesn't do breakfast, but there was a nice little cafe across the road that did coffee and granola and toast, so we went there before checking out.

We had a great time at The Gannet Inn. The room was clean and with ample space. We requested a two-single bed, and the hotel arranged this for us without a problem. The bathroom was clean and great. My friend and I both enjoyed the shower cap very much. The room rate included breakfast, and we also had our dinner at the hotel. Their meals were wonderful; we loved them very much. We visited St Michael Mount on the next day, and the staff was very helpful in calling a taxi for us, saving us time. Overall, we loved the place.

What an amazing find! The guest house was absolutely fantastic. It's located very close to the beaches and the harbour, excellent restaurants and bars are just 5-10 mins walk away. The room was clean and tidy. Our host Ken was super lovely and gave us loads of helpful reccomendations. We would definitely stay here again!

Zennor is in an insanely peaceful town, but staying at the Tinners Arms really feels like you're a fantasy adventurer who's wandered to a tavern and met sociable and hospitable group. I was here looking for inspiration for a story, and I've certainly found a lot here and from the church next door.
