The whole building was furnished and decorated with a great taste. Our room was very pretty and spacious. Everything worked nicely and the bed was comfy. The staff was very polite. The yogurt cups at the breakfast were great!

Situated in a very picturesque street in St Albans and set in lovely grounds with a beautiful lake.
We were upgraded to a luxurious garden room with a four poster bed and wonderful deep bath.
The food for both breakfast and dinner was delicious.
Prompt staff response to my poor mobility - room on main floor. Staff helpful in every way. Good menus at breakfast and dinner, but pricey at dinner time
Great location near the entry to the Cathedral. The building exterior was attractive Tudor style. Beautiful and pleasant antique furniture and decor in the entry, dining room, and bar areas. We had good meals for dinner.
Really lovely stay last a Friday... All the staff exceptionally friendly and helpful.. I was upgraded to a fabulous room on the ground floor as I was not able to use the stairs to the allocated room on the second floor. We went to The Rat Pack dinner event which was well organised, lovely food and great singer too.
A lovely 15th century coaching inn near the cathedral. The bar serves cask ale and within a short stroll there are plenty of good other pubs and restaurants.
Exceeded my expectations- usually play it safe with Premier inn anywhere in the UK, but this has better reviews in St Albans than the Premier Inn here so I thought I'd try it - the reception staff at H.Inn were excellent, cheerful staff at breakfast, the quality of breakfast was superb. Room bright and clean, peaceful nights sleep. And no charges for on site parking. Definitely recommended.
Perfect location for walking to everywhere in St Albans. Beautiful historic Inn. Lovely rooms.
