Everything except the back wrought iron stairs upto the property as they ate steep and would be treacherous in bad and icy weather

The room was clean and very nice. The shower was powerful. The bed was comfy. Close to the centre and the riverside walk is lovely.
Perfect for rustic breaks in the countryside, an Inn is a small property with basic hotel services and typically traditional decor. Inns are fully licensed and have a bar providing food and drinks in the evening, which distinguishes them from country or guest houses.
Staff were excellent and very helpful.
Room was clean and not too hot or cold.
Dinner was very good and again the staff were supberb.
Breakfast was excellent.
We stayed in Room No. 1, which certainly had a ‘wow’ factor on entering. The bedroom, lounge area, and bathroom were designed for wheelchair movement, which is why it was so spacious.
The quality of the dinners certainly made up for a disappointing lunch – Steak and Unicorn Ale pie, Ravioli, Chicken Chilli – were all delicious.
The staff were most friendly, and went out of their way to ensure that you had everything you needed
The staff were lovely, friendly and helpful. The Inn was beautiful and well designed. The room was fabulous, spacious and well appointed with a lovely bathroom with excellent shower. Bed super comfortable. I was given Fresh milk in a cold flask for tea and coffee. The breakfast was exceptional. Well cooked and plentiful and best I have had in a hotel. I would highly recommend this place.
Friendly reception on arrival, helpful staff, comfortable room dinner and breakfast food good value for money
