Perfect for rustic breaks in the countryside, an Inn is a small property with basic hotel services and typically traditional decor. Inns are fully licensed and have a bar providing food and drinks in the evening – distinguishing them from country or guest houses.
Tina and Brendan were very warming and amenable. Tina even drove us into Rostrevor for the music festival and dinner. Then, Brendan picked us up! Nothing was a bother. The house looks out over the water. Gorgeous people and an amazing stay. A magical find. The room was very comfortable, quiet and big with our own coffee/tea making facilities.
Staff exceedingly friendly. Central location convenient: Can walk right up into the mountains from the Inn as well as walk to other bars and restaurants. A real part of the community serving local whisky and gin. Cocktails made with fresh ingredients.
Wonderful, spacious, light filled room in an historic inn. Dinner at the bistro was really good, followed by an array of local musicians performing in the inn's small bar. Live music happens three times per week. Fun evening!
Martina and Brendan were absolutely fantastic hosts. Friendly and engaging, nothing was too much trouble for them. Martina gave us a lift to the Rostrevor Inn, and Brendan brought us back on the "bingo bus"! The breakfast was delicious, the room clean and tidy, and views over Carlingford Lough to die for. In short - outstanding!
Very welcoming hosts, with great local recommendations, they even arranged a reservation for us for dinner- thanks again! The Nook has everything you need for a relaxing break, walking distance to the village, swimming spots, kilbroney park and hiking trails. It was pet friendly too.
Loved the location- easy to walk into town for dinner and drinks.
The welcome from the owner immediately made you feel relaxed as she was lovely and friendly and willingly gave any information about the area we asked for.
Lovely warm room and bed was so comfortable, with fab pillows and lots of hot water for a nice deep bath.
Breakfast was superb, beautifully presented and it was great fun sitting chatting with our host and the other guests around the table.
All in all a superb stay.
The staff were wonderful and the dinner in the restaurant was delicious! The property is also located in a beautiful countryside setting, ideal for exploring Northern Ireland.
The apartment was very cosy and welcoming. It is very well situated to all amenities and the host Grainne could not have been more helpful.
Would highly recommend
