We turned up to check in...and fell in love with Orles Barn. Fabulous location by the river, beautiful inn with everything we needed and more. The woman who greeted us, showed us to our room and offered fresh water and milk. She had put air conditioning on, as was a hot day. She made us feel at home, breakfast was sumptuous and it had an Honesty Bar...which we used and was value for money. We will definitely return and have been singing it's praise 😁😍

The staff are amazing and super helpful, a big thank you to all of them! The building itself is fantastic, an historic inn full of charm, with exposed quirky wooden beams. The bar, dining room, and lounge are all full of atmosphere.

The room was spacious, clean, nicely decorated with a clean bathroom. The room exceeded my expectations. Nice view overlooking the river. Great location right by river walk, riverside pub opposite and only a very short walk into the town centre. Nice guest house run by a friendly husband and wife.

The food was absolutely fabulous and the highlight of our stay. We booked dinner for our first night and were so impressed we returned the second evening. Such creative flavours and beautiful presentation. Breakfasts were also excellent both in quality and choice (except for a lack of fruit). Being right by the river was lovely. Rooms are very tastefully decorated, good selection of toiletries and tea/coffee making in the room. Staff were friendly and helpful.
