This is nice little locals pub, if you have been to England you know that there are a few different types of pubs. This one is nothing fancy but cozy & the casks are in good shape. It is hidden down a little downhill road, a little ways away from the station but probably one of your best bets in Halifax. I had to check out early so I can't comment on the breakfast but it sounded good. Would stay again

Trevor was a charming attentive host, the property and location were picturesque and tastefully renovated, the rooms were very comfy, a short walk to a charming pub for dinner and an excellent breakfast at the guest house. We would certainly book again.
The owner Trevor is a fantastic host. Really couldn’t do enough for you. The Bridge Inn pup just around the corner is a must visit. Rooms were very comfortable. Had everything you needed. Breakfast was great, and Trevor’s poached eggs are fantastic!
Our welcome to this warm and inviting Inn was wonderful. Staff are just lovely. Our dinner, and included breakfast, was delicious.The size of the poached eggs were huge, apparently “the Rolls Royce of eggs” and I’d believe it! The big, fluffy white bath towels were a bonus too😊We couldn’t fault our stay.

A lovely stay - very warm and friendly welcome. Our room was very comfortable and the guest house suitably situated in walking distance to some lovely pubs and restaurants. Having said that, we received a substantial tasty full breakfast on morning one, and this morning a Yorkshire Tubby filled with scrambled eggs and smoked salmon which was delicious. Thank you both
The inn is a lovely old building in a picturesque location. The room was comfortable but was not the room we'd booked which was disappointing. The staff were lovely and very helpful. We had dinner which was fresh and tasty. The following morning we both ordered a full English breakfast which was delicious but was far too big - it had two of everything. I do wish they had stated that in the menu as I would have asked for just one of everything. I had to leave half and it felt very wasteful.
Lovely location and great little bolthole with very homely touches. Loved the fairy lights and radio. Very comfy bed and wonderful shower and garden area as others have said. Owner is lovely too as I left something behind in error after returning keys and she went out of her way to make sure I got it back in time. Great local pub ( Alma) a short walk away which does lovely dinner and breakfast.
A wonderful stay! We stayed for two nights as it was close to the wedding venue, but we would go back just to stay in this gorgeous guest house! If Carlsberg did B&Bs it would probably be here! Hosts Trevor & Guy are the most hospitable people you will ever meet. Really highly recommended!!
The owners couldn't be more lovely or accommodating, friendly and kind. The Guest House itself is beautiful. The breakfasts were delish. Being built right into the bank of the stream gives you a beautiful view. There's also a little pub just on the other side that does lovely food!
