Location was absolutely fantastic - parked once (in the hotels secure, free off street parking) and were able to freely explore the village and attractions directly from the hotel. Beautiful little village, very friendly people, and overall, a brilliant stop over mid trip. We thoroughly enjoyed it. Check in staff were very warm, welcoming and friendly. We were also delighted with all the little “extras” in the room - drinks selection for all ages, delicious biscuits, bottles of water and toiletries. An added bonus were the complimentary drinks vouchers we could redeem at the restaurant. We had dinner there - this too was excellent.
Well done to all the team at 1777 The Albion - we will be making a return visit. :)

Fantastic staff. Nice restaurant food. Good value for money.
Very dog friendly.
Perfect for rustic breaks in the countryside, an Inn is a small property with basic hotel services and typically traditional decor. Inns are fully licensed and have a bar providing food and drinks in the evening, which distinguishes them from country or guest houses.
The star inn is very cosy and clean and the food is excellent. The courtyard is pretty and has good seating areas.
The staff are very friendly and helpful.
Our second stay at forest heath shepherd’s hut. It’s such a beautiful setting. Lovely touch of Bucks Fizz to welcome us back which we enjoyed whilst sitting outside the hut soaking in the peaceful surroundings. The hut had everything you could ask for. Location is great for Moors Valley and there is a Vintage Inn pub (Three Legged Cross) that’s 20 mins walk serving tasty food. Thank you again. We will be back for sure!
We really enjoyed our clean, cosy and comfortable stay. We were met by friendly and welcoming hosts who gave recommendations of places to eat out/visit. The book of suggestions helped us with taxi numbers that meant we could get out into town for dinner easily.
I loved the location right in the new forest. Very peaceful and good for local walks.
The Inn has a warm and welcoming atmosphere. I loved the beams and the open fire and the lovely large beer garden.
The room was very cosy just slightly away from the main Inn in a self contained building which ensures that it is lovely and quiet.
Nice ensuite with a good shower. The furnishings were very good quality and very comfortable.
The food was very good with some vegetarian options.
This is an amazing place for bringing the family or a group of friends - plenty of space for activities and games. Loved how the house was marked as 'tipsy' and you do need to be there to understand it!
Spacious kitchen and dinning area to socialise and bedooms are very spacious. The game cabin was really cool and the boys didn’t want to leave it. We stayed in a very rainy day but the garden is ideal for summer days.
Super comfy super king size bed, cosy well decorated room, Robert’s radio with classic FM left on for us was a lovely touch, gorgeous breakfast, cosy areas to relax and have a drink in the pub. Friendly staff, all food (breakfast and dinner) was great. Love that it was dog friendly!
Very clean, very tidy. Very nice of the host to leave us complimentary snacks on arrival. Had a little visitor's book with all the information we needed and even take out leaflets pinned to the wall. Very accommodating.
Great location for touring the surrounding areas, eg New Forest, Poole, Bournemouth etc. Its near an industrial park, but the cottage is secluded and it’s very quiet. John, the host was very contactable.
Would recommend The inn on the Furlong in town centre for breakfast and The Old Beams Inn, a 10 minute drive away in Ibsley, is excellent for lunch and dinner.
The inn's central location in Ringwood makes it a prime choice for visitors looking to immerse themselves in the town's vibrant atmosphere. The charming and cozy ambiance of this quaint establishment creates a welcoming environment that instantly puts guests at ease. And last but certainly not least, the comfortable beds guarantee a restful night's sleep.
